Resolution amending resolution No. 251 of 2026, entitled “Resolution authorizing the Mayor, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the Director of the Department of City Planning to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnership Program to provide funding for the Allegheny Riverfront Trail Connectivity Planning Project. The grant proposal includes an ask not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars with a match not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars from the City of Pittsburgh’s Capital Budget for a total project cost not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.” to accept the grant and authorize necessary expenditures.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Resolution No. 251 of 2026, entitled “Resolution authorizing the Mayor, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the Director of the Department of City Planning to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnership Program to provide funding for the Allegheny Riverfront Trail Connectivity Planning Project. The grant proposal includes an ask not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars with a match not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars from the City of Pittsburgh’s Capital Budget for a total project cost not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.” is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the Director of the Department of City Planning are authorized to apply for receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding for the Allegheny Riverfront Trail Connectivity Planning Project in the amount of FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars. . The grant proposal includes an ask not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars with a match not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars from the City of Pittsburgh’s Capital Budget JDE Job Number 4575020120 for a total project cost not to exceed ONE HUNDRED Thousand ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 1129400567.45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor, the Director of Office and Management and Budget, and the Director of the City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, for expenditures not to exceed FIFTY THOUSAND ($50,000.00) dollars for the Allegheny Riverfront Trail Connectivity Planning Project under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure account in the Grants Trust Fund job number 1129400567.
Section 3. The local match of $50,000 shall come from the 2020 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget, JDE job number 4575020120, for a total project cost of ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
