Title

Resolution amending Resolutions No. 417 approved on June 10, 2014; To set dynamic enforcement hours for Area “DD” in the Southside Flats community pursuant to the establishment of a Parking Enhancement District (Council District #3).

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     For the Area bounded by: South 17^th Street, between Carey Way and its southern terminus; South 18^th Street, between Jane Street and Edwards Way, and between Sarah Street and East Carson Street; South 19^th Street, between Edwards Way and East Carson Street; South 20^th Street, between Larkins Way and Mary Street, and between Carey Way and Sarah Street; South 21^th Street, between Jane Street and Carey Way; East Carson Street, between South 17^th Street and South 22^nd Street (even number addresses only); Carey Way, between South 18^th Street and 20^th Street, and between South 21^st Street and South 22^nd Street; Sarah Street, between South 19^th Street and South 22^nd Street; Larkins Way, between South 21^st Street and South 22^nd Street; Jane Street, between South 17^th Street and South 22^nd Street; Harcum Way, between South 17^th Street and South 20^th Street; Mary Street, between South 17^th Street and South 20^th Street; and Edwards Street, between South 17^th Street and South 20^th Street.

That motorized vehicle parking shall be restricted to a two (2) hour time limit between the hours of 12:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday except where existing parking restrictions may exist and vehicles displaying a valid Area “DD” residential permit or visitor’s pass. 

IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1.                     For the Area bounded by: South 17th Street, between Carey Way and its southern terminus; South 18th Street, between Jane Street and Edwards Way, and between Sarah Street and East Carson Street; South 19th Street, between Edwards Way and East Carson Street; South 20th Street, between Larkins Way and Mary Street, and between Carey Way and Sarah Street; South 21th Street, between Jane Street and Carey Way; East Carson Street, between South 17th Street and South 22nd Street (even number addresses only); Carey Way, between South 18th Street and 20th Street, and between South 21st Street and South 22nd Street; Sarah Street, between South 19th Street and South 22nd Street; Larkins Way, between South 21st Street and South 22nd Street; Jane Street, between South 17th Street and South 22nd Street; Harcum Way, between South 17th Street and South 20th Street; Mary Street, between South 17th Street and South 20th Street; and Edwards Street, between South 17th Street and South 20th Street.

That motorized vehicle parking shall be restricted to a two (2) hour time limit between the within the hours of 12:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. dynamic enforcement hours set by the Director of Finance, Monday through Saturday and 12:00 a.m. through 2:00 a.m. on Sunday except where existing parking restrictions may exist and vehicles displaying a valid Area “DD” residential permit or visitor’s pass.
