Title
Resolution vacating a 15' and 20' Unnamed Way in the 17th Ward, 3rd Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.

Whereas, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of these 15' and 20' Unnamed Ways in the 17th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
Whereas, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That Vacation of Unnamed Ways, rear of parcels 3-R-69, 72 and 74 near Fritz St., 17th Ward.
Vacation of 20 foot Unnamed Way:
Beginning on the Northeast corner of parcel 3-R-69, said point being the Southeast corner of a 20 foot Unnamed Way; thence by a line along said terminus of Unnamed Way North 12° 41' East a distance of 20.39 feet to a point on the Northern Line and Northeast corner of Unnamed Way; thence along said Northern line North 66° 05' 30” West a distance of 166.23 feet to a point at the corner of the Western terminus of said Unnamed Way; thence along said terminus line South 0° 0'30” East a distance of 21.88 feet to a point on the southern line of said Way being the rear property line of parcels 3-R-69, 72 and 74; thence along said line South 66° 05'30” East a distance of 161.33 feet to a point at the Place of Beginning, containing 3,276 square feet of area.
Vacation of 15 foot Unnamed Way perpendicular to 20 foot Unnamed Way:
Beginning of vacation for 15 foot Unnamed Way located approximately perpendicular to the Northern line of above mentioned 20 foot Unnamed Way as stated above. The Western line of 15 foot Unnamed Way being 70.83 feet East of the Western terminus of 20 foot Unnamed Way. The distance of the 15 foot Unnamed Way extends from the Northern line of the 20 foot Unnamed Way Northward to it's terminus on the Southern line of parcel 4-H-250-02 being Conrail Railroad Property. Containing approximately 600 square feet of area, in the 17th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described above shall be and the same are hereby vacated.
Finally, that any Ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution, is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
