Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of City Planning to enter into a grant agreement with the State of Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development to receive monies to support sector planning in the City of Pittsburgh, and further providing for legitimate expenditures for payments and agreement or agreements, or contract or contracts for any services required in connection with the execution of said grant agreement. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts or expenditures shall not exceed $200,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of City Planning are hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement with the State of Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development for the receipt of grant monies in the amount of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00). These funds will be used for sector planning initiatives in the City of Pittsburgh. The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund: account 481140, fund 2940, organization code 110000, project PR10015, budget year 2008, Department of City Planning.
Section 2. The Director of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the State of Pennsylvania's Department of Community and Economic Development outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund: fund 2940, organization code 110000, project PR10015, budget year 2008, account # 500000; subclass-600, Department of City Planning.
