Resolution amending Resolution No. 634 of 2016 authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into an Amended Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with Cover Your Assets, LLC, at an overall cost Seven Hundred Ten Thousand Four Hundred Six Dollars and Ninety Cents ($710,406.90).

WHEREAS, the City and Cover Your Assets, LLC, have previously entered into a Professional Services Agreement (“Agreement”) as authorized by Council Resolution No. 640 of 2013, as amended by Council Resolution Nos. 717 of 2014, 718 of 2015 and 634 of 2016 with said Agreement set to expire on October 31, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the City now seeks to further amend its Agreement with Cover Your Assets, LLC in order to extend the term thereof until January 31, 2018 in order that the City may continue to receive computer-based products and services relating to scheduling management, particularly with regard to the scheduling of the Department of Public Safety’s Secondary Employment and Special Events; and
WHEREAS, the parties seek to add $37,081.38 in compensation for an additional 3 months of services extending from November 1, 2017 until January 31, 2018 such that the Agreement’s overall compensation payable to Cover Your Assets, LLC shall not exceed $710,406.90; and
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety are hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an Amended Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with Cover Your Assets, LLC, to provide the City with computer-based products and services relating to scheduling management at an overall cost not to exceed Seven Hundred Ten Thousand Four Hundred Six Dollars and Ninety Cents ($710,406.90). Such amounts shall be payable from the Police Secondary Employment Trust Fund (2100246700.53509.00; Item No. 5018).
The Amended Professional Services Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
