Title
Resolution accepting the dedication of the Mon Conn Vehicular Bridge and Hot Metal Street from East Carson Street, crossing the Monongahela River to Second Avenue, for public highway purposes, accepting the grading, paving, lighting, curbing, traffic signals and fixing the width and position of the roadway and sidewalk thereof, in the 16th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Whereas, The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, owner of certain property in the 16th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, has dedicated the Mon Conn Vehicular Bridge and Hot Metal Street, for public highway purposes.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That the Mon Conn Vehicular Bridge and Hot Metal Street (S. 29th Street) is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The grading, paving, lighting, curbing, traffic signalization of the Mon Conn Vehicular Bridge Hot Metal Street (Exhibit A), is hereby accepted.
Beginning at a point on the north side of East Carson Street, approximately 120 feet west of existing South 29th Street, then heading in a northerly direction, perpendicular to East Carson Street, through the LTV South Side Works redevelopment site, to the south shore of the Monongahela River for a distance of 1,045 linear feet. The right-of-way having a uniform width of 70 feet from East Carson Street for a distance of 762 feet north, and then having a uniform width of 80 feet for a distance of 283 feet north to the Monongahela river. The westerly right-of-way line being situated 35'-6" to the west of the said beginning point, and the easterly right-of-way line being situated 34'-6" to the east of the said beginning point. Continuing north across the Monongahela River to its north shore, a distance of 895.17 feet having a uniform width of 133 feet. Then continuing further north to Second Avenue, a distance of 530 feet, plus or minus, have a variable width ranging from 100 to 245.87 feet.
Beginning at a point on the north side of East Carson Street, approximately 87 feet to the west of the center of existing South 29th Street, then continuing along the following bearings and distances.

Is hereby accepted in the 16th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.
