Resolution accepting the dedication by Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh of Parcel No. 1A (Technology Drive) in the Pittsburgh Technology Center Plan of Lots No. 2 in the 4th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh for public highway and utility purposes, accepting the grading, paving, street lighting, curbing, traffic signals, establishment of grades and fixing the width and position of roadways and sidewalks thereof. (Council District 6)

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Whereas, Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh, owner of certain property in the Pittsburgh Technology Center project in the 4th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, wishes to dedicate Parcel No. 1A in the Pittsburgh Technology Center Plan of Lots No. 2 to the City of Pittsburgh for public highway and utility purposes, and the City of Pittsburgh wishes to accept the dedication as part of the systems of the City of Pittsburgh;
The dedication of the following street and utilities is hereby accepted:
Technology Drive
ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or parcel of ground situate in the 4th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania designated as Parcel No. 1A in the Pittsburgh Technology Center Plan of Lots No. 2 recorded in the Allegheny County Department of Real Estate on September 1, 2010 in Plan Book Volume 269, page 102.
BEING designated as Block & Lot No. 29-B-304.
Section 2. The grading, paving, street lighting, curbing, traffic signals, establishment of grades and fixing the width and position of roadway and sidewalks listed in Section 1, as shown on Pittsburgh Technology Center Site Preparation Contract No. 11, Sheet Nos. 1 through 64, and Cross Sections Sheet Nos. 1 through 66, are hereby accepted and declared to be public improvements of the City of Pittsburgh.
Section 3. This dedication is subject to the terms and conditions of the Consent Order and Agreement between Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Resources ("DEP") dated July 9, 1993, and the First Amendment to Consent Order and Agreement dated July 9, 1993 between URA and DEP, dated October 19, 1995 (the "Consent Order"), which includes a prohibition on the use of ground water underlying the property for any purpose and the requirement that any soil movement or disturbance, other than ordinary surface grading and landscape improvements, be done pursuant to a Health and Safety Plan.
