Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to grant to The Peoples Natural Gas Company, LLC, a Pennsylvania Corporation located at 375 North Shore Drive, Suite 600, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212, an easement for a gas pipeline located in Highland Park that services the Highland Park Pool and Maintenance Building.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Gas Pipeline Easement Grant Agreement (the “Agreement”) with The Peoples Natural Gas Company, LLC, a Pennsylvania Corporation located at 375 North Shore Drive, Suite 600, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15212, for an easement on the following described land:
SITUATED in Pittsburgh 11th Ward , Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, being a tract of 363 acres conveyed to the City of Pittsburgh under the date of September 20, 1966 by Ordinance 417 , Tax Map Number 82-H-1 Parcel Number 02 .
Bounded substantially by land now or formerly owned as follows:
North by Route PA-8
East by Washington Boulevard
South by Negley Run Boulevard
West by Reservoir Drive
The pipeline laid pursuant to this agreement is to be located within the limits of an easement of a width deemed necessary by the Grantee, but in now event to exceed twenty feet (20’) fon either side of pipeline as laid. Legal Description prepared by Gateway Engineers is attached and marked as “Exhibit A.” In exchange for the granting of this easement, Peoples Natural Gas Company, LLC, shall pay to the City the amount of $1.00 as consideration upon the execution of the Agreement. Payment is to be made to the “Treasurer, City of Pittsburgh” and funds deposited into the following account: JDE 11101.43.43409.107000.2018.
The Agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
