Title
Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning, Chapters 902.03 Zoning District Maps #6 and #7 by changing various zoning district classifications in the Chateau and North Shore neighborhoods in accordance with the Map Pittsburgh project relative to the City's Urban Zoning Code, Wards 21, 22, 23 and 27.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  Amend Section 902.03, Zoning District Maps #6 and #7 of the Pittsburgh Code by changing the following zoning district classifications:
 
1.      From "GI" General Industrial and "LNC" Local Neighborhood Commercial to "UI" Urban Industrial all properties bounded by: Island Avenue, Chateau Street, block and lot 7-B-100 in the Allegheny County Block and Lot system, west across Pennsylvania Route 65, Knoll Drive and the Ohio River, 21st and 27th Wards.
 
2.      From "UI" Urban Industrial and "DR-A" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict A to "UNC" Urban Neighborhood Commercial all properties bounded by: block and lot 7-B-183 in the aforesaid system, Hopkins Way, Manhattan Street, Western Avenue, Allegheny Avenue and the centerline of Pennsylvania Route 65, 21st Ward.
 
3.      From "GI" General Industrial to "DR-A" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict A all properties bounded by North Point Drive, block and lots 7-G-032 and -029 in the aforesaid system, the Ohio River and block and lot 7-F-090 in the aforesaid system, 21st Ward.
 
4.      From "DR-B" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict B to "NDI" Neighborhood Industrial all property bounded by Ridge Avenue, block and lots 7-H-333, -335 and -339 in the aforesaid system, block and lot 8-E-092 in the aforesaid system and the centerline of Pennsylvania Route 65, 22nd Ward.
 
5.      From "DR-B" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict B to "RM_H" Residential Multi-Unit High Density all properties bounded by block and lots 8-E-249, -160, -171 and 184 in the aforesaid system, block and lots 8-F-20, -12 and -32 in the aforesaid system, Merchant Street, Martindale Street and the centerline of Pennsylvania Route 65, 22nd Ward.
 
6.      From "DR-A" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict A to "DR-B" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict B all property bounded by block and lot 8-J-030 in the aforesaid system, a point 150 feet west of Art Rooney Way and North Shore Drive, the Monongahela and Ohio Rivers and the line established by extending Allegheny Avenue south, southeast to the Ohio River.
 
7.      From "DR-B" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict B and "DR-C" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict C to "PO" Parks and Open Space all property bounded by Merchant Street, block and lot 8-B-150 in the aforesaid system, block and lot 8-G-150 in the aforesaid system, South Commons Drive, Federal Street, old North Canal Street right-of-way, North Canal Street, the on-ramp from East Ohio Street to Interstate 279 southbound, block and lot 9-E-225 in the afore said system and block and lot 8-G-208 in the aforesaid system, 22nd and 23rd Wards.
 
8.      From "UI" Urban Industrial to "DR-C" Downtown Riverfront Subdistrict C all properties bounded by block and lot 9-A-265 in the aforesaid system, the Centerline of the Veteran's Bridge (Interstate 579), River Avenue and block and lot 9-E-225 in the aforesaid system, 23rd Ward.
