Resolution amending Resolution #960 of 2003 effective December 31, 2003, entitled "Resolution providing for a professional services agreement or agreements with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP for the performance of the City's Financial Statement including Single Audit for the year ending December 31, 2003 at a total cost not to exceed One Hundred Ninty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($197,700.00) for one year."

So as to include the performance of additional hours incurred in the areas of Compensated Absences Accrual, Going Concern/Act 47 Status, Fixed Assets Recording and Related Report and Work Paper Preparation in the scope of services and to increase the authorized amount from One Hundred Ninty-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($197,700.00) to Three Hundred Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($312,700.00).
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Resolution providing for a professional services agreement or agreements with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP for the performance of the City's Financial Statement Audit including Single Audit for the year ending December 31, 2003 at a total cost not to exceed One Hundred Ninety-Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($197,700.00) for one year, chargeable to and payable from Miscellaneous Services, Department of Finance, Account 525500, Fund 1000, Organization 107000, Sub-Class 150, Budget Year 2004.
Is hereby amended as follows:
Resolution providing for a professional services agreement or agreements with KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP for the performance of the City's Financial Statement Audit including Single Audit for the year ending December 31, 2003 at a total cost not to exceed Three Hundred Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($312,700.00) for one year, chargeable to and payable from Miscellaneous Services, Department of Finance, Account 525500, Fund 1000, Organization 107000, Sub-Class 150, Budget Year 2004.
Section 2. The City Controller shall encumber $197,700.00 from the 2004 Budget Appropriation of Miscellaneous Services, Department of Finance, Account 525500, Fund 1000, Organization 107000, Sub-Class 150, Budget year 2004 subject to the annual budget appropriation.
