Resolution vacating a portion of 10' Unnamed Way between Republic Street and Seward Street in the 19th Ward, 2nd Council District, of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of 10' Unnamed Way in the 19th Ward, 2nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by and persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That vacating a 10' Unnamed Way between Republic Street and Seward Street.
Description of Vacated Unnamed Way off Republic Street
ALL THAT CERTAIN LOT or piece of ground situate in the 19th Ward of The City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the easterly side of Republic Street, 40 feet wide, at a point on the Southeast corner of Block 6-K, Lot No. 175 and the Northerly line of a 10 feet wide Unnamed Way; thence along said Northerly line of Unnamed Way South 77º 23' East a distance of 98.84 feet to a point on the Southeast corner of Block 6-K, Lot No. 175 being the corner of Unnamed Way and Seward a Street, 40 feet wide; thence South 21º 53' West a distance of 10.03 feet to a point on the Northern line of Block 6-K, Lot No. 180; thence along this Northern line being the Southern line of this Unnamed Way North 77º 23' West a distance of 97.21 feet to a point on the Northwest corner of Block 6-K, Lot No. 180 at the intersection of Unnamed Way with Republic Street; thence North 12º 37' East a distance of 10.0 feet to a point at the place of beginning, Containing 980 square feet of area.
The abutting property owner, Alex DeFeo, 355 Republic Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, Lot and Block 6-K-180, has relinquished his reversionary rights of this 10' foot Unnamed Way, giving Lot and Block 6-K-175 owners the entire 10' foot right-of-way ownership and also reserving the right of easement of a 6" water line located therein, in the 19th Ward, 2nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described above shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
