Resolution amending Resolution 710-2022, authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to adopt an existing government agreement through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program and to enter into any related agreement or agreements and amendments thereto as necessary with Carahsoft Technology Corp. for Google Cloud subscription services, Google Assured Workloads to provide secure storage for sensitive data on the City’s cloud platform, and to add Astronomer cloud scheduling, tools, training, and installation services, increasing the 2024 funding for Astronomer and Google Assured Workloads by $240,000, for a total not to exceed $4,598,824.38.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Resolution amending Resolution 710-2022, authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance “to adopt an existing government agreement through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program and to enter into any related agreement or agreements and amendments thereto as necessary with Carahsoft Technology Corp. for Google Cloud subscription services, including professional services to complete the migration of the City’s infrastructure to the cloud platform, with no subscription costs for the first year of the term, and to add Google Assured Workloads to provide secure storage for sensitive data on the City’s cloud platform, and to add Astronomer cloud scheduling, tools, training, and installation services to provide support for the City’s data warehousing and archiving from source data systems, increasing the 2022 budget by $76,000 to a total of $1,319,182.92 in 2022 funds, and increasing the 2023 budget by $240,000 to a total of $1,628,219.98 in 2023 funds, at a total amount not to exceed Four Million, Three Hundred Fifty Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty Four and 38/100 Dollars ($4,358,824.38)” is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1: The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to adopt an existing government agreement through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s cooperative purchasing program and to enter into any related agreement or agreements and amendments thereto as necessary with Carahsoft Technology Corp. for Google Cloud subscription services, including professional services to complete the migration of the City’s infrastructure to the cloud platform, with no subscription costs for the first year of the term, and to add Google Assured Workloads to provide secure storage for sensitive data on the City’s cloud platform, and to add Astronomer cloud scheduling, tools, training, and installation services to provide support for the City’s data warehousing and archiving from source data systems, increasing the 2022 budget by $76,000 to a total of $1,319,182.92 in 2022 funds, and increasing the 2023 budget by $240,000 to a total of $1,628,219.98 in 2023 funds, increasing the 2024 funding for Astronomer and Google Assured Workloads by $240,000 to a total of $1,651,409.72 in 2024 funds, at a total amount not to exceed Four Million, Three Hundred Fifty Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty Four and 38/100 Dollars ($4,358,824.38) Four Million, Five Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand, Eight Hundred Twenty Four and 38/100 Dollars ($4,598,824.38). Funds for said agreement shall be paid from the following accounts:
For 2021: $11.76 from 103000.53.53509.2021
For 2022: $1,319,182.92 from 103000.53.53509.2022
For 2023: $1,628,219.98 from 103000.53.53509.2023
For 2024: $1,411,409.72 $1,651,409.72 from 103000.53.53509.2024
TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED: $4,598,824.38
Section 2: The agreement or agreements and amendments are subject to the approval of the City Solicitor as to form.
Section 3: Any ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed as far as the same affects this Resolution.
