Resolution authorizing acceptance by the City of Pittsburgh, the dedication of portions of Kirkpatrick Street, at no cost to the City, in the 4th Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH, as owner(s) of Lot and Blocks (11-L-49), (11-L-51), (11-L-52), (11-L-53), (11-L-54), and (11-L-63) located in the 4th Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, wishes to dedicate portions of Kirkpatrick Street, at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh for public highway and utility purposes.

 

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The dedication of the following is hereby accepted: Kirkpatrick Street

 

All that certain lot or piece of ground situated in the 4th Ward, City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being part of Parcel (11-L-49); being further bounded and described;

 

Beginning at a point on the Fifth Avenue construction baseline Bearing S65°22'22"E at station 492+29.52; thence leaving said baseline N24°37'38"E with a distance of 29.88 feet to a point on the Northerly Legal Right of Way Line of Fifth Avenue; thence N24°50'41"E with a distance of 62.78 feet to a point to the center of 6 foot private alley; thence along the center of said alley S65°24'13"E with a distance of 18.85 feet to a point; thence leaving the centerline of a 6 foot private alley a bearing S24°50’41”W with a distance of 62.71 feet to a point on the Northerly Legal Right of Way Line of Fifth Avenue; thence along Legal Right of Way Line of Fifth Avenue N65°22'22"W with a distance of 18.85 feet to a point on the Northerly Legal Right of Way line of Fifth Avenue, the point of beginning.

Section 2.                      This dedication shall include the grading, paving, lighting, curbing, traffic signals, street trees and public utilities located therein and fixing the width and position of the roadway and sidewalk thereof as public improvements of the City of Pittsburgh.  Lot consolidation plan, drawings, filed with the Department of Mobility & Infrastructure, in the Dedication file, are hereby accepted.

 

Section 3.                       That any Resolution or Ordinance or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
