Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to execute relevant agreements with (SGA) Smart Growth America to receive grant funding in the amount of Eight Thousand Dollars and No Cents for the purpose of participation in the Safe Streets, Smart Cities Academy on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh.  Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400268.48311.00. Additionally, the city will provide matching funds not to exceed Eight Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($8,000.00) in order to receive said grant funds to be used for the same purpose, from account 6026735918.54205.00.

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize the existing Agreements or Contracts not to exceed Eight Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($8,000.00) for the purposes of participation in the Safe Streets, Smart Cities Academy chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400268.50000.00. Additionally, the city will provide matching funds not to exceed Eight Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($8,000.00) in order to receive said grant funds to be used for the same purpose, chargeable and payable from account 6026735918.54205.00.
