Title

Resolution requesting the approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. TR-2932, from Robert D. Walker, Inc, to Thomas and Margaret Jayson, for The Mirage Nightclub, Inc., located in Bessemer Court, Station Square, Unit A-IU, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby endorses the request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. TR-2932, from Robert D. Walker Inc., to Thomas and Margaret Jayson, for the Mirage Nightclub located in Bessemer Court, Station Square, pursuant to amended Pennsylvania Liquor Code, §4-461.

 

Request for Approval

 

SECTION 2. 

 

                     Thomas and Margaret Jayson, which has a mailing address of 19 Priscilla Lane Carnegie, PA 15106, submitted a request for approval of an inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license, License No. TR-2932, which is currently registered to Robert D. Walker, Inc., desires to place a restaurant liquor license into a premises to be known as Mirage Nightclub Inc., at Station Square, Bessmer Court, Unit A-IU Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, 15219. The proposed interior of the premises will comprise of the first floor area, mezzanine, including patio area of said address.

 

Public Hearing

 

SECTION 3.

 

                     City Council shall set a date for Public Hearing for the purpose of receiving comments and recommendations of interested individuals residing in the City of Pittsburgh concerning Robert D. Walker, Inc., as the secured creditor of Mirage Nightclub, Inc., located at Bessemer Court, Station Square, Unit A-IU.

 

 

 

Approval or Denial of Request

 

SECTION 4. 

 

                     After the Public Hearing and within 45 days of the introduction of this Resolution, City Council shall render a decision to approve or disapprove Thomas and Margaret Jayson's request for inter-municipal transfer of a restaurant liquor license.  City Council must approve Thomas and Margaret Jayson's request unless it finds that approval would adversely affect the welfare, health, peace and morals of the City of Pittsburgh or its residents.
