Affirmative Recomendation
Title
Resolution repealing Resolution No. 282, effective May 19, 1999, as amended by Resolution No. 437, effective July 15, 1999, entitled "Providing for a Contract or Contracts, or use of existing Contracts for the purchase and installation of new traffic and streetlight poles and fixtures at Seventh Street and Penn Avenue; providing for a Reimbursement Agreement with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust; and providing for the payment of the cost thereof," by repealing it in its entirety.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Section 1 and 2 of Resolution No. 282, effective May 19, 1999, as amended by Resolution No. 437, effective July 15, 1999, which presently reads as follows:
"The Director of the Department of General Services and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into a Contract or Contracts, or use existing Contracts for the purchase and installation of new traffic and streetlight poles and fixtures at Seventh Street and Penn Avenue at a cost not to exceed $40,000.00 chargeable to and payable from the following:

Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Engineering and Construction, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Reimbursement Agreement with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust to provide for the Trust to reimburse the City for the cost of the purchase and installation of new traffic and streetlight poles and fixtures at Seventh Street and Penn Avenue."
