Resolution accepting the dedication of Josh Gibson Drive for public highway purposes, accepting the grading, paving, curbing, signage and fixing the width and position of the roadway and sidewalks thereof, in the 26^th Ward, 6^th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Body

WHEREAS, The Charles Street Area Council, owner of certain property in the 26^th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, shown on the Gibson Green III Plan of Lots, City of Pittsburgh Plan No. 5600, has dedicated Josh Gibson Drive for public highway purposes.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section1.      Accepting the dedication of Josh Gibson Drive, 36 feet wide, from North Charles Street to its terminus as laid out in the Gibson Green III Plan of Lots, City of Pittsburgh No. 5600, recorded in the Recorders Office of Allegheny County, Plan Book Volume 215, Pages 50 and 51, June 15, 1999; accepting its grading, paving, curbing, signage; beginning at a point on the South East corner of North Charles Street 50' wide and Irwin Street 30'wide; thence in an Easterly direction N. 68º 30' 00" E, a distance of 129.57' to a point at the true place of beginning;  thence by an Arc, curving to the right, having a radius of 15' for an arc distance of 24.45; thence S. 18º 07' 08" E a distance of 136.68' to a point; thence S. 51º 30' 09" W. a distance of 9.12' to a point thence S. 68º 30' 00" W. 13.96' to a point; thence; thence S. 21º 30' 00" E. a distance of 20.00' to a point; thence N. 68º 30' 00" E a distance of 81.38' to a point; thence N. 21º 30' 00" W. a distance of 20.00 to a point; thence S. 68º 30' 00" W. a distance of 13.37' to a point; thence N. 89º 25' 57" W. a distance of 9.93' to a point; thence N. 18º 07' 08" W. a distance of 137.39' to a point, thence by an arc, curving to the right, having a radius of 15.00'; for an arc distance of 22.68' to a point at North Charles Street; thence in a Westerly direction, S. 68º 30' 00" W. a distance of 68.11' to a point at the true place of beginning; and is herby accepted and declared to be a public street of the City of Pittsburgh.
