Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of City Planning to enter into a Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with Christine Davis Consultants, Inc. in an amount not to exceed Forty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($49,600.00) over one year to provide archaeological services to Westinghouse Park, a City Park.

WHEREAS, the City has previously entered into an archaeological services agreement for Westinghouse Park and recommendations required further study; and
WHEREAS, the City issued 2025-RFP-022 on March 24, 2025, seeking proposals for archaeological services to provide additional archaeological surveying as recommended; and
WHEREAS, after Christine Davis Consultants, Inc. won said archaeological services competitive bid the City will enter into an archaeological services agreement entitled Christine Davis Consultants Professional Services Agreement for Westinghouse Park Phase II Archaeological Survey.
WHEREAS, the City requires additional archaeology services in order to determine what impacts future park improvements, as outlined in the Westinghouse Park Master Plan, may have on underground historical artefacts; and
WHEREAS, the City will enter into said Agreement with Christine Davis Consultant, Inc. to secure contracted archaeological services throughout the duration of the contract.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and Director of the Department of City Planning are hereby authorized, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a Professional Services Agreement or Agreements to provide archaeological services for Westinghouse Park, at a City cost not to exceed Forty-Nine Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($49,600.00) over a period of one (1) year, chargeable and payable from account number 4550020624 - WESTINGHOUSE PARK - ARCHAEOLOGY STUDY (2024 PARKS TAX).
Section 2. Said Agreement or Agreements shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
