Resolution amending Resolution No. 713, approved October 13, 2000, effective October 18, 2000, entitled, "Vacating Fort Duquesne Boulevard between 10th and 11th Streets in the 2nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh".

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Resolution No. 713, approved October 13, 2000, effective October 18, 2000 which presently reads as follows:
Section 1. That vacating Fort Duquesne Boulevard between 10th & 11th Streets,
Beginning at a point at the intersection of the curb line of Tenth Street, 70' wide with the southerly right-of-way line of Fort Duquesne Boulevard; thence through Fort Duquesne Boulevard the following ten courses and distances: (1) N 19° 22' 50" W a distance of 45.39' to a point; thence (2) N 10° 55' 30" E a distance of 99.34' to a point; thence (3) N 60°54' 00" E a distance of 197.10' to a point; thence (4) N 64° 32' 00" E a distance of 55.92' to a point; thence (5) N 68° 20' 00" E a distance of 28.34' to a point; thence (6) N 77° 36' 00" E a distance of 38.17' to a point; thence (7) N 88° 23' 00" E a distance of 33.57' to a point; thence (8) S 81° 30' 00" E a distance of 30.03' to a point; thence (9) S 54° 18' 00" E a distance of 46.49' to a point; thence (10) S 40° 07' 00" E a distance of 44.79' to a point at the intersection of the curb line of Eleventh Street, 80' wide with the aforesaid southerly right-of-way line of Fort Duquesne Boulevard; thence along said southerly right-of-way line S 63° 03' 27" W a distance of 472.21' to a point at the place at the beginning.
Containing 53,032.25 square feet of 1.217 acres.
It should be noted that the 36" waterline can be abandoned in the vacated area and also the 15" sewerline will be abandoned upon removal of the cart-way, in the 2nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.
IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
Beginning at a point common to the southerly right-of-way line of Fort Duquesne Boulevard, the westerly building line of the proposed convention center and the easterly right-of-way line of the proposed Tenth Street Northbound roadway; thence along the easterly right-of-way of the proposed Tenth Street Northbound roadway and the westerly building line of the proposed Convention Center, North 18° 57' 09" West 85.99 feet to a point at the northwesterly corner of the proposed Convention Center; thence along said northerly building line of the proposed Convention Center the following thirteen courses and distances: (1) N 63° 27' 40" E a distance of 24.44' to a point; (2) N 18° 57' 08" W a distance of 13.03' to a point; ( 3) N 71° 02' 53" E a distance of 23.17' to a point; (4) S 18° 57' 16" E a distance of 9.94' to a point; (5) N 63° 27' 17" E a distance of 5.15' to a point; (6) N 18° 48' 59" E a distance of 8.69' to a point; (7) N 71° 02' 48" E a distance of 19.75' to a point; (8) S 18° 56' 59" E a distance of 6.05' to a point; (9) N 63° 27' 14" E a distance of 133.13' to a point; (10) N 18° 57' 13" W a distance of 13.03' to a point; (11) N 71° 02' 56" E a distance of 17.17' to a point; (12) S 18° 56' 59" E a distance of 10.98' to a point; (13) N 63° 06' 47" E a distance of 40.66' to a point at the northeasterly corner of the proposed Convention Center, thence along the easterly building line of the proposed Convention Center the following five courses and distance. (1) S 18° 56' 47" E a distance of 3.19' to a point; (2) N 71° 03' 11" E a distance of 2.23' to a point; (3) S 18° 56' 33" E a distance of 5.10' to a point; (4) N 71° 01' 17" E a distance of 0.83' to a point; (5) S 18° 57' 10" E a distance of 75.57' to a point on the aforementioned southerly right-of-way line of Fort Duquesne Boulevard; thence along the said right-of-way line South 63° 05' 15" West 267.30 feet to the point at the place of beginning.
Containing an area of 23,131.39 square feet or 0.531 acres.
