Resolution amending Resolution # 499 of 2015 which provided for the sale of property at 1235 Clairhaven Street in the 28th Ward, by substituting School District of Pittsburgh for Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh. All other provisions remain unchanged.

Authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority School District of Pittsburgh to acquire all of the City's Right, Title and Interest, if any, in and to the Publicly-Owned Property in the 28th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 40-G, Lot 315 (Council District No.2 - Site Assemblage for Commercial Development - 1235 Clairhaven Street).
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority School District of Pittsburgh desires to acquire all of the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to publicly-owned properties known as Block 40-G, Lot 315 in the 28th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses in connection with such acquisition.
Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh desires to give approval to the acquisition by Urban Redevelopment Authority Strict district of Pittsburgh.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That the Urban Redevelopment Authority School District of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to acquire, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses in connection with such acquisition, all of the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to publicly-owned properties known as Block 40-G, Lot 315 in the 28th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh.
Section 2. That the Urban Redevelopment Authority School District of Pittsburgh is authorized to incur said necessary and incidental expenses in connection with said acquisition.
Section 3. A condition of sale to be included in the deed is that the property may only be used for sale to the Pittsburgh Spice Company and in the event it is sold to any other party or used for any other purpose, the property ownership reverts to the City of Pittsburgh.
