Resolution authorizing a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh in connection with the amended Federal North Redevelopment Proposal. (Council District No. 6)

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Directors of the Departments of Public Works, Engineering and Construction and Finance are hereby authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") to implement the amended Federal North Redevelopment Proposal, providing for the vacation of the following rights of way within the redevelopment area: McCrory Way between Federal Street and Hazlip Way, Mace Way between Federal Street and Hazlip Way, Charlick Way between Boer Way and Alpine Avenue, and Charlick Way between Alpine Avenue and Carrington Street; the waiver of permit fees for contractors employed by URA in connection with the demolition of structures and construction of public improvements in the redevelopment area; and the acquisition by URA of all of the City's right, title and interest, if any, in the following publicly owned properties:
