Resolution providing for a Lease Agreement with the Linett Company, Fred I. Schwartz and Melvin E. Solomon, owners; and/or other assignees or transferees for warehouse and office space together with the right to utilize right of way surrounding said property known as 6815 Hamilton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15208, for a term of five (5) years.

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, the Director of the Department of General Services and the Director of the Department of Public Safety on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement(s) of Lease with Linett Company, and/or other assignees or transferees, of certain indoor and outdoor space of approximately 57,701 square feet, for an initial term of five (5) years, in an amount not to exceed seventy-five thousand eleven dollars and thirty cents ($75,011.30) per year for lease year one (1) through three (3) and in an amount not to exceed eighty thousand seven hundred and eighty-one dollars and forty cents ($80,781.40) per year for lease years four (4) through five (5), for the purpose of securing space to be used as storage for equipment, materials, vehicles, office and confiscated equipment by the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Public Works. Stipulated lease amounts are to be chargeable to and payable subject to and contingent upon the annual appropriation of funds for said Agreement of Lease from the following: the Department of Public Works in the amount of twenty thousand three hundred ninety one dollars and eighty cents ($20,391.80) from: Organization 421000, Subclass 140, Fund 1000, Account 560500, and/or the Department of Public Safety in the amount of fifty-four thousand six hundred nineteen dollars and fifty cents ($54,619.50) from Organization 230000, Subclass 140, Fund 1000, Account 560000, Budget Year 2002. Said agreement of lease shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor and shall, in addition to the terms and conditions specified herein, contain other terms and conditions that may be in the best interest of the City.
