Resolution accepting of the dedication of a portion of South Water Street as shown on Survey Plan No. 3637, on file in the Department of Public Works, for public highway purposes, accepting the grading, paving, curbing, traffic signals and fixing the width and position of the roadway and sidewalks thereof, in the 16th Ward, 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

That Acceptance of the Dedication of a portion of South Water Street:
Whereas, UPMC Health Systems, owner of certain property in the 16th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, shown on Survey Plan No. 3637, has dedicated said portion of South Water Street for public highway purposes.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That a portion of South Water Street as laid out in Survey Plan No. 3637, in the 16th Ward 3rd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby accepted.
Section 2. The grading, paving, curbing and traffic signalization of a portion of South Water Street;
All that certain parcel of land, being Parcel 6 in the South Side Works Plan of Lots No. 3, situate in the 16th Ward, City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, more particularly bound and describes as follows:
Beginning at a point common to Parcel 4, Parcel 6 and Parcel 7 in the South Side Works Plan of Lots No. 3 as recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, in Plan Book Volume 215, Pages 1 to 4; thence from said point of beginning by the line dividing Parcel 6
and Parcel 7 in said South Side Works Plan of Lots No. 3 the following thirteen (13) courses and distances:
S 48° 54' 25" E a distance of 120.68 feet to a point of curvature;
in a southeasterly direction by a curve bearing to the left having a radius of 102.50 feet
through an arc distance of 85.36 feet to a point of tangency;
N 83° 22' 47" E a distance of 44.50 feet to a point of curvature;
in a easterly direction by a curve bearing to the right having a radius of 137.50 feet through
an arc distance of 125.14 feet to a point of compound curvature;

northeasterly direction by a curve bearing to the right having a radius of 960.00 feet through an arc
distance of 35.02 feet, also having a chord bearing on N 43° 05' 49" E and a chord distance of 35.02
feet, to the point common to Parcel 4, Parcel 6 and Parcel 7 in said South Side Works Plan of Lots
No. 3, at the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 126,098.35 square feet or 2.895 acres.
