Title

(residential construction)
 
Body
Whereas, pursuant to Resolution No. 255 effective April 8, 1977 and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Redevelopment Proposal for a part of Redevelopment Area No. 31 in the Second, Third and Fifth Wards of the City of Pittsburgh was approved; and
 
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and Black Mountain Development, LLC in connection with the sale of Lots 2, 8A, 8B, 9A & 9B (Block 9-S, Lots 97 & 101) for $42,000.00, said property being located in the Third Ward of the City of Pittsburgh in Redevelopment Area No. 31 and
 
Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed Contract is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and the desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  That execution of the Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and Black Mountain Development LLC, in connection with the sale of Lots 2, 8A, 8B, 9A, and 9B (Block 9-S, Lots 97 and 101) for $42,000.00, said property being located in the Third Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved, said Contract being in conformity with the Redevelopment Proposal for Redevelopment Area No. 31 in the Second, Third, and Fifth Wards of the City of Pittsburgh.
