Resolution amending Resolution No. 264 of 2025, entitled “Resolution authorizing the Mayor, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding for the rehabilitation of Emerald View Trail project. The grant proposal includes an ask of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($250,000.00) with a match of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND FORTY-TWO CENTS ($250,844.42) from the City of Pittsburgh’s Capital Budget for a total project cost of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND FORTY-TWO CENTS ($500,844.42) dollars for this stated purpose.,” to accept the grant, increase the grant amount, reduce the required match and authorize necessary expenditures.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Resolution No. 264 of 2025, entitled “Resolution authorizing the Mayor, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to apply for grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnerships Program to provide funding for the rehabilitation of Emerald View Trail project. The grant proposal includes an ask of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($250,000.00) with a match of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND FORTY-TWO CENTS ($250,844.42) from the City of Pittsburgh’s Capital Budget for a total project cost of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND FORTY-TWO CENTS ($500,844.42) dollars for this stated purpose,” is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, the Director of the Office of Management and Budget and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ Community Conservation Partnerships Program for the Emerald View Trail Project in the amount of TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED ($250,800.00) dollars. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400529.45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor, the Director of Office and Management and Budget, and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, for expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED ($250,800.00) dollars for the Emerald View Trail Project under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure account in the Grants Trust Fund job number 6029400529.
Section 3. The local match of $250,800.00 shall come from the 2026 City of Pittsburgh Capital Budget, JDE job number 6059050326, for a total project cost of FIVE HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED ($501,600.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
