Affirmative Recommendation

Title

Resolution providing for a Lease(s) and/or License Agreement(s) and/or Management Agreement(s) for the use of certain property for senior community facilities for the provision of center services to senior citizens in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Forty Three Thousand ($143,000.00) Dollars chargeable to and payable from the Senior Citizens Program Trust Fund in the Department of Parks and Recreation.

 

Body

Be it further resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Mayor, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh are hereby authorized to enter into a Lease(s) and/or License Agreement(s) and/or Management Agreement(s) for the purposes of senior centers and shall include provisions for accessibility improvements, if needed to insure access for people with disabilities and may include custodial and maintenance services or provisions of center services to senior citizens.  Said Lease(s) and/or License Agreement(s) and/or Management Agreement(s) shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such other terms and conditions as she may require.

 

                     The cost of these Lease(s) and/or License Agreement(s) and/or Management Agreement(s) shall not exceed One Hundred Forty Three Thousand ($143,000.00) Dollars chargeable to and payable from the Senior Citizens Program Trust Fund, Account 560100, Fund 2850, Organization 530000, Subclass 600, Year 2001 in the Department of Parks and Recreation.
