Resolution authorizing the City of Pittsburgh to accept certain property in the 22nd Ward from the Pittsburgh Children's Museum for West Ohio Street right-of-way widening now named Children's Way at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh.
 
Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  Whereas the City of Pittsburgh requires certain property to widen former West Ohio Street now named Children's Way between West Commons and former Allegheny Square West, now also named Children's Way; and
 
            Whereas the Pittsburgh Children's Museum has revised their subdivision which is recorded in Plan Book Volume 242 pages 150 and 151 which dedicates the required land area for former West Ohio Street widening.
 
            Now, therefore be it resolved that The Mayor, the Director of the Department of Finance and the Director of the Department of Public Works, are hereby authorized to accept this land dedicated for widening former West Ohio Street at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh according to the following description:
 
            Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of West Commons at its intersection with the Northerly line of West Ohio Street as established by Ordinance of the City of Pittsburgh No. 212, approved June 3, 1971, of record in Ordinance Book 72, page 374; thence South 14º00'44'' East a distance of 18.875 feet to a point at the TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING; thence North 76º03'37'' East a distance of 107.28 feet to a point; thence North 14º00'44'' West a distance of 5.00 feet to a point; thence North 76º03'37'' East a distance 153.16 feet to a point on the center line of previously vacated Allegheny Square; thence South 14º02'44'' East a distance of 12.50 feet to a point; thence South 76º03'37'' West a distance of 30.00 feet to a point; thence North 14º02'44'' West a distance of 2.62 feet to a point; thence South 76º03'37'' West a distance of 230.44 feet to a point on the Easterly line of West Commons; thence along said Easterly line North 14º00'44'' West a distance of 4.88 feet to a point at the TRUE PLACE OF BEGINNING. Containing 2114.07 square feet of area.
 
Section  2.  That said dedication shall become a permanent part of the West Ohio Street right-of-way now named Children's Way as previously indicated in the Pittsburgh Children's Museum revised plan of lots recorded in Deed Book Volume 242 pages 150 and 151.
