Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety and/or the Chief of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or to supplement existing agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the provision of a service agreement with Philips Medical Systems for a period of five (5) years, 2011-2016, commencing on Nov 15, 2011 and continuing through, at a cost not to exceed Forty Four Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Five Dollars and Twenty Three Cents ($44,455.23) in BY 2012, chargeable to and payable from Fund 1000, Subclass 130, Org. No. 220000, Account 557700, Budget Year 2012, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, Department of Public Safety.
 
Section 2.      The City Controller shall encumber funds for the 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 contract years from and subject to the amount of funds to be appropriated by City Council in respective budget years from Fund 1000, Subclass 130, Org. No. 220000, Account 557700, Department of Public Safety.  The annual cost in years 2012-2016 may not exceed Forty Four Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Five Dollars and Twenty Three Cents per contract year.
