WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. has for more than 50 years made inestimable contributions to the welfare of the Pittsburgh community through its sense of fellowship and programs, which are designed to enhance the quality of life for all, recognize the excellence and achievements of our youth; and,
WHEREAS, the MBT Pageant Committee is an organization whose purpose is also to enhance and encourage the excellence and achievement for the young ladies of our local communities; and,
WHEREAS, the MBT Committee and the Pittsburgh Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs, Inc. have collaborated to sponsor the Miss Ebony Teenage and Miss Princess Pageant in support of our local young ladies; and,
WHEREAS, we recognize, honor and congratulate Miss Jacqueline Clarke, Miss Ebony Teenage 2010, and we recognize, honor and congratulate Miss Katherine Logan, Miss Princess 2010 for their excellence and achievements;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend 2010 Miss Ebony Teenage Jacqueline Clarke and 2010 Miss Princess Katherine Logan, and wish both of them continued success in their future endeavors.
