Whereas, by Resolution No. 512, effective August 17, 2009, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorized Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") to submit an application to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the "Commonwealth") for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program ("RACP") in the amount of $500,000 for the Point Park University and Wood Street Corridor Development project (the "Project"); and
 
Whereas, the Commonwealth has increased the grant to $3,250,000, which requires an amendment to Resolution No. 512 to reflect the increased grant;
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.        Section 1 of Resolution No. 512, effective August 17, 2009, which currently reads as follows:
 
"The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of up to $500,000 for the Project."
 
is hereby amended to read as follows:
 
"The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of $3,250,000 for the Point Park University and Wood Street Corridor Development Project."
