Title

Resolution providing for the creation of the Other Post-Employment Benefits Trust Fund and for setting conditions for the deposit and expenditure of such funds.

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  That the City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a trust fund entitled "Other Post-Employment Benefits Trust Fund" into which shall be deposited funds paid to the City for the purpose of funding post-employment benefit liabilities.

Section 2.      The Trust Fund shall be established within the Department of Finance and funds shall be set forth in the City of Pittsburgh's annual budget.

Section 3.      The City shall create an appropriate structure under its home rule and charter powers to segregate funding for OPEB and those funds shall be transferred to this Trust Fund.
