Resolution authorizing a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh providing for the dedication to the City of South Shore Riverfront Park and related matters. (Council District 3)

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA"), in a form approved by the City Solicitor, authorizing the acceptance by the City of deeds of dedication to South Shore Riverfront Park as phases of the park are completed, authorizing URA to apply, on behalf of the City, for any permits or approvals required for the construction of a marina at the park, the assignment to the City of all leases and permits associated with the park on completion of construction of each relevant phase, and the waiver of permit fees for contractors retained by URA in the construction of the park.
