Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Director of Operations and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, in cooperation with the Fraternal Association of Professional Paramedics, are authorized and directed to immediately contact all hospitals in the Pittsburgh region for the purpose of obtaining financial support for the City of Pittsburgh Emergency Medical Technicians program.
