Title
Amending Res. 691 of 2003, entitled, "Authorizing and directing the Chief Administrator of the Magistrates Court and the Solicitor of the City of Pittsburgh to implement a program to aggressively pursue violators to collect outstanding warrants on fine and cost orders," to add language to provide for the deposit of all such funds in the Police Salaries Outstanding Warrant Trust Fund.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  That Resolution No. 691 of 2003, is hereby amended by adding the following underscored language, as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Chief Administrator of the Magistrates Court and the Solicitor of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized and directed to implement an Outstanding Warrant Collection program to aggressively pursue violators to collect outstanding warrants on fine and cost orders.
 
Section 2.  The implementation of said program should include but not be limited to constable services.
 
Section 3.  All revenues received through the "Outstanding Warrant Collection" Program shall be deposited into the Police Salaries Outstanding Warrant Trust Fund (PSOWTF) with the sole intent of  paying additional police officers that have been laid off.
