Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Director of the Department of Public Safety or the Director of the Department of General Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into a contract or contracts or agreement or agreements, or use existing contract(s) or agreement(s) for the purchase of an emergency notification system, including hardware, software, installation, maintenance, training, support, equipment and related accessories at a cost not to exceed Twenty Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) chargeable to and payable from Fund 2463, Org. No. 213000, Subclass 600, Account 540000, Budget Year 2002, Emergency Operations Center, Department of Public Safety.
