Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
 
Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of City Information Systems on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into an Agreement(s), Professional Service Agreement(s), and/or Contract(s) or use existing Agreement(s), Professional Service Agreement(s), and/or Contract(s) for Information Systems Modernization to include upgrades to the City's existing information system infrastructure in conjunction with all City Departments to replace outdated computer hardware, for the upgrade of current operating software and other applications as well as for web enablement enhancements for the purchase of equipment, supplies, communication, hardware, software, training, professional services, and maintenance at a cost not to exceed Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($700,000) chargeable to and payable from Account 525100, Fund 5100, Organization 102000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project/Grant 2251003, Budget Year 2002, Mayor's Office, City Information Systems.
