Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Chief of Innovation and Performance to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with CORO Pittsburgh.
Body
WHEREAS, CORO operates a local fellowship program for the purpose of providing work experiences to young professionals, to perform important community, recreational, planning, sustainable and project management work for municipal agencies and for non-profit organizations; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage one CORO Fellow (the “Fellowship”) to carry out such projects; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the City to engage a CORO Fellow for a ten-month term is Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000).
WHEREAS, the length of the contract shall not exceed 3 years beginning August 2015 and ending May 2018
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and Director of Innovation and Performance are hereby authorized to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with CORO Pittsburgh at a cost not to exceed Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000), which shall be payable from the following account number: 11101.103000.53901 The Fellowship Participation Agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
