Resolution vacating Nuzum Avenue between East Woodford Avenue and Duffland Street in the 29th Ward, 4th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of Nuzum Avenue between East Woodford Avenue and Duffland Street in the 29th Ward, 4th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
 
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by and persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
 
That vacating a portion of Nuzum Avenue, 40 feet wide, from East Woodford Avenue to Duffland Street as opened per Ordinance No. 183, approved May 13, 1955; Ordinance No. 183 is rescinded and declared null and void.
 
This portion of Nuzum Avenue was laid out in the Hagman Estate Plan of Lots, PL 2290, recorded in Allegheny County Plan Book Volume 27 page 45; and also reserving the right of easement of a 9" & 12" sewer line or any water lines located therein, in the 29th Ward, 4th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described above shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
