Resolution providing for the acceptance by the City of Pittsburgh from Mrs. Teresa Lancia of certain property in the 20th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for public purpose and addition to the Duquesne Heights Greenway at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh.
 
Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor, the Director of the Department of Finance and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to accept a deed from Mrs. Teresa Lancia conveying vacant land in the 20th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, to become part of the Duquesne Heights Greenway.
 
The Property described as follows:
 
All that certain lot or piece of ground situate in the 20th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being lots Nos 147 and 148 in Alta Land Company's Plan of Lots called "Alta Place" as recorded in the Recorder's Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in Plan Book Volume 7, Page 56.
 
BEGINNING at a point on the Northerly line of Hallock Street between Lots 146 and 147 in the "Alta Plans" Plan of Lots; thence Northerly along the dividing of said lots a distance of 114.45 feet to a point on the southerly line of Athlone Way; thence Southwesterly along said line of Athlone Way a distance of 43.12 feet to a part on the dividing line between Plan Lot No 148 and 149; thence Southerly along said line a distance of 109.17 feet to a point of the Northerly line of Hallock Street; thence Easterly along said line a distance of 41.49 feet to a point at the PLACE OF BEGINNING.  Containing 4,730 Square feet of area.
 
BEING designated as Block 5-L, Lot No. 45 in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
